The Accident and Emergency Department is responsible for unscheduled patients that present with conditions requiring immediate medical attention.
We are equipped to treat all major conditions that may require immediate medical attention, such as trauma, strokes, and myocardial infarctions.
Specialists from every department are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to emergency cases if need be.

Ambulance Services are available on a 24 hour basis.
Our ambulance is equipped with essential equipment, such as oxygen, ventilators, monitors and emergency drugs.
Ambulance services cover not only the Georgetown area, but also East Coast Demerara, Berbice, and even Linden.
